Originally from the suburbs of Boston, Michael graduated from a small high school called Thayer Academy and sought to leave his Massachusetts comfort zone. With no travel experience, he spent his freshman year of college at NYU abroad in London, England. Sophomore year, Michael returned to New York City to NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. At 19, he got his real estate license and started renting apartments to his classmates to help pay for school.
After graduating NYU, Michael went into property management and leasing and later transitioned into commercial leasing with WeWork in NYC and Boston. In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, he picked up and moved to DC to start a career with Long and Foster Realtors as their Director of Growth. After a few years with LNF, Michael accepted a position as a Strategic Growth Manager for Compass. Real Estate is in his blood, and has always been his passion.
Joining Bish Properties was an easy decision for him. Knowing Libby as a friend and colleague at Compass made the transition seamless. In his free time, he loves traveling (both near and far), boating on the river with his partner Ben, and spending time with his family in Cape Cod and Florida. Michael lives in Arlington, VA and serves clients across the DMV!
